Energy from Data!
We can hear from numerous places that the „Data is becoming the new Oil”. This way of thinking is further strengthened if we recognize that the data has a value if it is well processed and “refined”. This „product” well prepared has a great value for the industrial actors and in indirect way for the electricity consumer as well.
The Hungarian Electrotechnical Association provides a neutral platform for legal entities and natural persons working in the electric power industry, as well as for government authorities to coordinate and exchange information about important issues.
It is an important objective of the Association to motivate the actors by using a complex approach in order to work on solutions and to have open and fruitful debates about them.
In the light of the above, the 68th Annual (Electrotechnical) Conference and Exhibition will be held in Debrecen, Hungary.

This Annual Conference and Exhibition held at different Hungarian locations for decades is a festival of the electrical power industry whose surge in popularity is visible by the continuously growing number of participants reaching 900 people by now.
The events of the last year, the implementation of the Clean Energy Package will have a major effect on the power value chain. The importance of the carbon nautral power generation technologies, the smart grid elements and the power storage solutions are continuously increasing. The demand for the modern diagnostic methodologies and data based solutions are rapidly growing. The number of research projects in the electrical power industry are exponentially growing in the last years targeting the modernization of the infrastructure and implementation of new technologies.
Can the key players of the power industry react fast enough on the new demands and changes? Where is the borderline when the data based digital solutions take lead compared to the physical systems, infrastructures? Can smart solutions delay grid expansions in cases?
The aboves and many more other questions that the 68th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association is seeking answers to! The main sponsor of this year’s Conference and Exhibition is the OPUS TITÁSZ Zrt. The Conference also provides an excellent opportunity to have an open exchange of views and consultations among professionals of the electrical power industry.
